This is a series of tableware featuring realistic yet warm animal paintings created by Sawada.
Each piece is carefully shaped and carved to make it easy to use, and the milky white powdered finish gives it a ceramic-like texture.
The animal pictures are not painted with a brush, but rather by scratching off the powdered paint, giving the pieces a unique artistic quality and warmth.
Sawada, whose father is a potter, has had a strong interest in pottery since childhood, and now in his 30s, he has been making pottery for 20 years, making him a veteran.
